AUSTRALIAN VISA
RESIDENT RETURN VISA
If you leave Australia after your travel validity expires, or it expires when you are outside Australia, you will not be able to return to Australia as a permanent resident. This visa allows you to return as a permanent resident.
Subclass 155 - up to five years from the date of grant.
Subclass 157 - 3 months from date of grant.
With this visa, you can
- Travel in and out of Australia as many times as you want until the travel validity expires
- Have a travel facility up to 5 years depending on your circumstances
Who is eligible
- You must be an Australian permanent resident
- You must be a former Australian permanent resident whose last permanent visa was not cancelled
- You must be a former Australian citizen who lost or renounced Australian citizenship. Australian citizens are not eligible to apply for a Resident Return Visa.

Subclass 190 Visa
- Skilled Nominated Visa (Subclass 190) is a points-based stream for skilled workers who are nominated by an Australian state or territory government to live and work in Australia as a permanent resident.
